Alchemist: Contest Entry

Another contest entry. I'm on a roll! xD three submissions in one day? Wow! xD

It's 's adopted OC, Alchemist. I went for a monochrome color scheme. ^^

While completing this picture, I realized that the real prize was being able to draw this in the first place. I had a long, miserable artists' block, and I felt like I lost my ability to draw in all. I haven't been very proud of my past pictures either, aside from the Fish line art. But while drawing this image, I have found skills that I didn't know I had before, and for once, I am really proud of this picture. And even better, I've produced two digital images this evening. Two! And both of them were drawn directly onto my computer, no scanned sketches whatsoever! I am so grateful for this opportunity.
The texture I used is from an unknown resource (I seriously have no idea); I do not claim the texture as my own. I just drew the picture. xD

I hope you like it, because I sure as barnacles do! ♥ ^^
